Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Finance position based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves reviewing and analyzing financial information to support families with budgeting, saving, and debt management. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and interpreting financial statements, assisting with basic accounting activities, and explaining financial concepts in clear, accessible language. The position also includes meeting with clients (virtually and in person), documenting recommendations, and collaborating with team members to develop financial education materials. The successful candidate will maintain accurate records, follow internal policies and relevant regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement of financial programs and services.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge and the ability to work with Financial Statements.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data and provide meaningful financial insights.
• Candidates should possess foundational Accounting skills for recording and tracking financial activities.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to explain financial concepts to families and collaborate with team members.
• Relevant post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
• Experience in client-facing or advisory roles, especially in family or community-focused settings, is an asset.
• Proficiency with common office and financial software (e.g., spreadsheets, accounting tools) is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards.
