Job description
Who are Heidi?
Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible.
We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients.
In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals — supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide.
Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.
The Role
Heidi is an AI Care Partner built for clinicians. We operate across seven global entities and we are growing fast. Revenue and headcount are compounding month on month, and our Finance team needs to move at the same pace as the business.
We are hiring an AR Operations Manager to own the full Order-to-Cash cycle. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who has built an Accounts Receivable or Billing function before and wants to do it again with more speed and complexity.
You will manage an existing team of AR analysts, own the processes and systems that connect a signed contract to collected cash, and partner across Finance, Rev Ops and Sales to strengthen how revenue flows through the business.
Things move quickly here. Processes are evolving, systems are scaling, and not everything is neatly defined. If you need a perfect playbook handed to you on day one, this is not the right fit. If you would rather build it yourself, keep reading.
What you'll do
- Prepare management reports on revenue, receivables, cashflow, DSO, collection performance and revenue leakage.
- Analyse working capital, billing accuracy, cash conversion and AR risk to support management decision-making.
- Prepare forecasts for collections, cash receipts and debtor ageing to support cashflow planning.
- Provide variance analysis on actual collections against forecast, budget and targets.
- Partner with Finance leadership to identify financial risks, revenue leakage, process inefficiencies and control gaps.
- Develop financial models and dashboards to support O2C performance, revenue operations and executive reporting.
- Provide recommendations to improve financial controls, billing accuracy, revenue recognition support and cashflow outcomes.
- Support month-end financial reporting through AR reconciliations, revenue-related analysis and commentary.
What we’ll look for:
- 7+ years of progressive AR or Revenue Operations experience, including 3+ years managing and developing a team.
- Builder mentality. You have designed AR systems and SOPs from scratch. You know what good looks like because you have built it.
- Systems fluency. Hands-on experience with billing platforms (Stripe), CRM systems (HubSpot or Salesforce) and ERP environments.
- Multi-entity experience. You have operated AR across multiple entities, currencies and jurisdictions.
- Remote team leadership. You have managed distributed or offshore teams and kept standards high regardless of geography.
- Operational rigor. You investigate root causes, form a view and bring solutions, not just observations.
What will set you apart:
- Experience across a multi-product, multi-pricing-model portfolio (SaaS, usage-based, bundled) and an understanding of the revenue recognition implications.
- Comfort in ambiguity. You can take incomplete information, make a sound call and move.
- Experience with AI or automation tooling in a finance context.
- B2B SaaS/AI experience, ideally in a company scaling past $50m ARR.
- CA/CPA or equivalent is a plus but not required.
Why this role matters:
AR is one of the highest-leverage operational functions in a fast-scaling business: it directly affects cash flow, forecasting accuracy and customer relationships. This role gives you the mandate to own the function end to end and build something that scales. The team is small but strong, the problems are real and the impact is immediate.
THE WAY WE WORK
1. Build to Last
We design for safety and reliability so clinicians, patients, and our teams can trust what we build every day.
2. Own Your Practice

3. Move Fast, Stay Steady
We move quickly but never at the cost of trust. Progress only matters if people can depend on what we make.
4. Make Others Better
Honest feedback, steady support, and shared growth keep our teams improving together.
WHY YOU WILL FLOURISH WITH US
- Flexible hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office.
- A generous personal development budget of $500 per annum
- Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team
- Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win
- The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of Australia’s leading healthtech startups
- If you have an impact quickly, the opportunity to fast track your startup career!
