Responsibilities
Long-term Care
- Practice safe, compassionate, competent, and ethical care throughout the continuum of health and wellness of the residents.
- Administer direct nursing care and plan resident care in consultation with the multidisciplinary care team.
- Administer and record prescribed medications.
Home Care
- Diabetes management
- Dialysis
- IV medications
- Palliative care
- Phlebotomy
- Wound care
Core Requirements
- Current license (or eligible for license) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
