Job description
We're looking for a Senior Animator to join our team and create high-quality, game-ready animations for exciting slot game titles. In this role, you'll work closely with the Art Director and Principal Animator to bring game experiences to life through polished animations, motion graphics, and visual effects.
What You'll Do
Animation Production
- Create high-quality 2D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects for slot games
- Animate symbols, UI elements, characters, and reward sequences
- Deliver visually engaging animations that enhance gameplay and player engagement
Ownership & Execution
- Own animation tasks from concept to final delivery
- Ensure strong timing, polish, consistency, and quality across all deliverables
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting production deadlines
- Iterate efficiently based on feedback
Game Feel & Player Experience
- Design animations that improve anticipation, excitement, clarity, and reward satisfaction
- Maintain consistency across all animated elements within a game
Technical Excellence
- Create game-ready animations optimized for performance and engine integration
- Work with tools such as Spine, After Effects, Adobe Animate, or similar software
- Support implementation across PIXI.JS, HTML5, Unity, Cocos, or Unreal Engine
- Knowledge of 3D animation is a plus
Collaboration
- Partner with Artists, Designers, Developers, and Animation leadership
- Help resolve animation-related implementation challenges
- Communicate progress, timelines, and potential blockers effectively
What We're Looking For
- 6–8 years of experience in Game Animation, Motion Design, or a related field
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Game Production, Digital Media, Animation, or a related discipline
- Experience in Slot, Casino, Social Casino, or Casual Games is highly preferred
- Strong portfolio demonstrating game-ready animations and motion design work
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in After Effects, Spine, Adobe Animate, or similar animation tools
- Strong understanding of animation principles and motion design fundamentals
- Experience working within game production pipelines
- Familiarity with PIXI.JS, HTML5, Unity, Cocos, or Unreal Engine workflows
