Job Description
PLANNER, MX PLANNING
Havas Media has an immediate position available for a Planner, Mx Planning in the Toronto office.
As a Planner, Mx Planning you are responsible for the day-to-day management of media assignments at HAVAS MEDIA. You are expected to understand of your clients’ line of business, have experience using media tools, following best practices and a passion for seeking out new opportunities for clients. You organize/manage workflow; all media planning, analysis, trafficking and scheduling requests. To be successful, you must have a curious mindset and eager to learn, you are well organized and can multitask, and team player looking to build meaningful connections.

Responsibilities
- Work with the team (Senior Planners through Account Director) to develop integrated communication strategy for your client base.
- Leverage tools and research to develop insights and ideas.
- Planning and execution of media plans as it pertains to assignment/agreed strategy (presentations, blocking charts, Prisma trafficking)
- Work alongside specialized teams (SEM, social, programmatic) to integrate digital expertise where required.
- Managing direct vendor communications including RFP requests
- Ensure accuracy of computer input, estimates and planned data. Quality control of all components.
- Issuance of schedules, documentation, financials required to keep the project/campaign on track, on schedule and within budget for the client
- Support in financial discrepancy processing both with vendor and agency finance team
- Understanding of BCR (Budget Control Reports) to ensure quality control across client financials
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in media planning across all channels (print, broadcast, digital, social, OOH)
- Knowledge of research and media tools including Media Ocean suite of products
- Competency in digital campaign management including end to end trafficking process
- Great communication skills including verbal and written. Ability to prepare clear and concise emails and client-ready documents.
- Comfortable working in PowerPoint and excel
- Organized, accurate and attentive to detail
- Team player with a ‘can do’ attitude and demonstrated ability to follow through
Additional Information:
This role represents an active vacancy at Havas. You will be joining a collaborative, growth-oriented environment where ideas are encouraged and career development is supported. The base salary range for this position is CAD $55,000 to $60,000, with final compensation determined based on factors such as work location, skills, experience, and background.
