HARP Security is a full-service security provider for the Region of Halton, offering our clients quality security systems and matching services. HARP has been providing leading security for over 26 years, from our in-house local monitoring centre, fleet of professional mobile alarm response vehicles and innovative systems integrators. At this time we are looking at expanding our Mobile Response Team for IMMEDIATE PART-TIME & FULL-TIME position's.

Opportunity

This position will require the candidate to work with our established Mobile Response Team to provide on road back-up for alarms as well as perform routine site security patrol services. Must be able to drive our company provided Alarm Response Vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. To learn and gain real life on road experience to advance onto your career in policing or other law enforcement positions..

Responsibilities / Duties

• Arrive on time, and ready to work
• Keep a professional appearance and maintain company vehicles
• Ability to be organized and write reports on a daily basis
• Follow company directives, protocols, and procedures as trained
• Ability to use maps, GPS, or other methods to navigate to find and get to clients premise safely in all types of weather.
• Ability to work additional hours or shifts as they become available
• Able to work at a static site if required from time to time

Work Conditions / Requirements

• Ability to work in hot or cold environments; can be inside or outside depending on day or shift.
• Ability to work full shifts with possibility of starting early or leaving late.
• Uniform shirts, pants, jackets, vest carriers, provided. Boots and Duty belts to be provided by employee. (Vests are recommended but provided by employee.)

Education / Experience /Qualifications

• High School or College Certificate/Diploma
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid CPR and Basic First Aid Certificate
• Clean Criminal Record
• Valid Ontario G driver’s license
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (abstract required upon hiring)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
