Organization The Organisation Harley s Fine Baking https www harleys com is a European style patisserie premium cake selling company created by an IIM professor to disrupt the cake and coffee market established to spread bonafide taste of the streets of Manhattan across the world Brought into the world from a love for baking the desire to create a meeting place that serves delicious food with a warm rustic environment The Organization offers a full scope of Breads morning merchandise cakes baked and savoury goods Currently the team size is of about 200 people with more than 15 outlets across Hyderabad along with a plan of opening 100 new outlets across Mumbai Goa Vijayawada Bangalore Chennai scaling up to 1000 people over the next year Designation Production Manager Food Manufacturing Qualification Bachelor s degree in food technology Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering MBA or Diploma in Operations Management preferred Certifications HACCP ISO or FSSAI certification advantageous but not mandatory Experience Minimum 5 years in production management food manufacturing with 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity Job Profile The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end food production operations ensuring product quality safety and compliance with regulatory standards This role involves production planning process optimization cost control and people management to achieve operational excellence in a high-volume food manufacturing environment Job Responsibilities Develop and execute daily and weekly production schedules in coordination with supply chain planning Ensure adherence to quality standards FSSAI HACCP ISO and food safety protocols Lead mentor and train production staff on SOPs GMP hygiene and safety standards Oversee equipment utilization preventive maintenance and plant layout optimization Monitor KPIs such as OEE line efficiency waste and downtime to drive continuous improvement Implement lean manufacturing and Kaizen practices for process optimization Ensure statutory compliance with labour laws food safety regulations and audit requirements Maintain accurate documentation including batch records production reports and audit trails Required Skills Strong knowledge of food production processes equipment and compliance standards Expertise in GMP HACCP ISO and food safety regulations Proficiency in production management tools and ERP systems Strong leadership decision-making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and team management abilities Desired Skills Experience in lean manufacturing methodologies Exposure to cost optimization yield improvement and workflow design Familiarity with continuous improvement frameworks like Six Sigma Personal Attributes High accountability and ownership of deliverables Robust attention to detail with a focus on quality and compliance Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proactive innovative and adaptable to change Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 1 200 000 00 - 2 400 000 00 per year Ability to commute relocate Nanakramguda Hyderabad Telangana Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Experience Production Management Food Manufacturing 5 years Required Food Processing FMCG Manufacturing Industry 3 years Required Managerial Supervisory role 2 years Required Work Location In person
