We are hiring for a UI/UX Designer - Industrial Vision Platform

Services Location: KY/Georgetown

Location in or near Georgetown, KY or commitment (ideally) to travel 2 week/month. Local strongly preferred. If find someone sooner, can start sooner than 16-FEB

Description Of Services:

1. Location in or near Georgetown, KY or commitment (ideally) to travel 2 week/month 2. Clear and Confident communication, written and verbal 3. Experience with UI/UX Design for Industrial applications Key Responsibilities o Design end-to-end UI/UX solutions for an industrial vision platform, including dashboards, configuration tools, monitoring screens, and analytics views o Translate complex technical and industrial requirements into intuitive user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs o Conduct user research with operators, engineers, and technical stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and usability challenges o Create and maintain design systems, UI standards, and reusable components for consistency across the platform o Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, computer vision engineers, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle o Design for real-time data visualization, alarms, inspections, and performance monitoring in industrial environments o Capture design artifacts in client tools: Figma, LucidCharts, others o Validate designs through usability testing, iterate based on feedback, and support continuous improvement Required Qualifications o 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer for complex software products o Strong portfolio demonstrating UX problem-solving, interaction design, and visual design o Experience designing data-heavy applications, dashboards, or technical platforms o Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar o Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design o Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams o Strong communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications o Experience with industrial software, manufacturing systems, machine vision, or automation platforms o Familiarity with AI/ML or computer vision workflows o Experience designing for B2B, enterprise, or industrial users o Knowledge of accessibility standards and usability best practices o Understanding of front-end development constraints (HTML/CSS, component-based design)

Deliverables:

-Process Flows -Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members -Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility -Participate in data conversion and data maintenance -Provide best practice and industry specific solutions -Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions -Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed. -Participate as a team member of the team -Perform other duties as assigned.
