Job Description
As a member of the team at Halliburton, you will play a crucial role in the Central Accounting department by applying your knowledge of the company's business systems and processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and posting of journal vouchers for complex accounting transactions
- Reviewing and monitoring financial transactions for accuracy and timeliness
- Researching and resolving complex accounting issues and transactions, including related internal controls
- Preparing, analyzing, and distributing financial results, along with providing variance explanations
- Participating in multi-functional teams and developing project management skills
- Ensuring timely resolution of queries from business/operations
- Ensuring process documentation is up to date
- Process improvement and standardization
- Supporting ad hoc projects/tasks as assigned
- Setting up recurring entries
- Analyzing and posting accruals, re-class, and IC journals
- Cost Allocation Process
- Internal and external audit support
- Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations

- Communicating effectively with all stakeholders
- Staying aware of business trends

Minimum qualifications for this role include a minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting-related roles and the completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
