GV Immigration Services is hiring Nurse Aide / Personal Support Workers / Home Caregivers for Elderly Care Centre and esteemed clients in GTA, Ontario.

• To provide in-home services or elderly care facility to elderly clients, maintain safety standards, through the provision of assistance with their activities of daily living, and fulfilling medical requirements.
• Carry basic health-related activities like changing non-sterile bandages, aiding with medication administration, and collecting samples only under the supervision of a home care agency supervisor or nurse.
• Providing instruction on activities of daily living, via demonstrations, according to the Client Care Plan.
• Providing personal care as required, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and transfers/mobility.
• Performing a variety of household duties such as light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals including special diets as required by the Client Care Plan.
• Companying/escorting to medical appointments, as required, for support and/or translation assistance.
• To observe and report any changes or problems related to the client or client's environment. Requirements
• Secondary school education and on-the-job training or a personal support worker, nursing aide or health care aide college or private institutional program, or a college nursing orderly program and supervised practical training are required.
• Completion of specialized courses such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid is usually required.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience. *Employer will provide work permit and support with LMIA for the right candidates **Candidates will have to pay the cost of visa application and arrange for relocation, travel etc with or without family.
