Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician Trainee to join our Central Services team. This is a unique opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a critical role that directly impacts patient safety and infection prevention.

What You’ll Do (Training Included!)

Through paid, on-the-job training, you’ll learn how to:

• Decontaminate and clean medical instruments

• Perform sterilization processes

• Assemble and package surgical instruments

• Manage storage and distribution of supplies and equipment

You’ll also gain exposure to:

• Infection prevention protocols

• Quality and safety standards

• The full sterile processing lifecycle

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday

• Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00PM or10:30 PM - 7:00 AM. Will work alternative schedule during training for 3-4 months, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

• Location: La Crosse, WI

• Pay: $17.75 per hour plus generous shift differentials

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to complete a sterile processing cohort or training program within 6 months of hire

• Strong attention to detail and reliability
