Role Description The Director of Market Access is a full-time, remote role responsible for developing and executing market access strategies to ensure optimal reimbursement, pricing, and availability of Guerbet’s products. This role leads the design of access strategies for key product portfolios, including health economic value propositions, pricing models, and reimbursement dossiers, in close collaboration with medical, commercial, and regulatory teams. The Director will build and maintain relationships with payers, health technology assessment (HTA) bodies, and other market access stakeholders, while monitoring policy and reimbursement trends across priority markets. Daily responsibilities include guiding the development of health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) evidence, overseeing the preparation of value communication tools, and supporting launch and lifecycle strategies from a market access perspective. The role also involves leading cross-functional market access initiatives, managing external consultants when needed, and providing strategic input to senior leadership on access risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in market access, pricing, and reimbursement in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or diagnostic imaging industry.
• Experience developing value propositions, HTA submissions, and health economic and outcomes research in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including building relationships with payers, HTA bodies, policy makers, and internal senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze healthcare policy, reimbursement frameworks, and competitive landscapes and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a track record of leading complex, multi-country projects.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey scientific, economic, and clinical value to diverse audiences.
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional initiatives, influencing without direct authority, and mentoring or guiding team members.
• Advanced degree in life sciences, health economics, public health, pharmacy, business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional European languages are beneficial.
