Shifts: Day, Evening, Overnight, Weekends -You must be available on weekends and holidays as needed. This is an on-call, flexible shift position.
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and professional Armed and Unarmed Security Officers to join our growing team in Washington, DC. Immediate openings are available for qualified candidates seeking steady work, competitive pay, and advancement opportunities. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
All shifts are currently available, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
Unarmed Security Officer Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned properties (foot or vehicle patrol)
- Monitor cameras and alarm systems
- Control building access and verify credentials
- Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Provide excellent customer service
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid DC Security Officer License (or ability to obtain)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills
Armed Security Officer Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong visible security presence
- Patrol and secure assigned locations
- Enforce access control procedures
- Respond to emergencies and disturbances
- Complete detailed reports
- Follow firearm safety and use-of-force policies
Requirements
- 21+ years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid DC Armed Security Officer License
- Valid firearm registration in Washington, DC
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Prior armed, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
