As a well-funded early-stage startup, Gruve offers a dynamic environment with strong customer and partner networks.</p></div><p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <h3><strong>Position Summary:</strong></h3> <p>The Senior Pre-Sales Consultant (Cybersecurity) is a strategic, customer-facing role responsible for driving solution design and technical sales across enterprise security engagements. This role requires a strong blend of cybersecurity expertise, presales experience, and consultative problem-solving to translate complex customer requirements into scalable, multi-layered security architectures. You will work closely with sales, OEMs, and delivery teams to enable deal success, influence customer decisions, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is hands-on, business-aware, and capable of engaging stakeholders across technical and leadership levels.</p> <p></p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <p></p> <ul> <li>Lead technical discovery and customer engagements to understand security challenges and requirements</li> <li>Design and present end-to-end cybersecurity solutions across SIEM, SOAR, XDR, NDR, SSE, NAC, WAF, and SOC services</li> <li>Deliver technical demos, workshops, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate solutions and drive deal progression</li> <li>Develop technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), HLDs/LLDs, and solution documentation</li> <li>Support SOC and managed security services pre-sales including use-case design, onboarding models, and SLA definition</li> <li>Collaborate with sales, OEM partners, and delivery teams to align solutions with customer needs and business goals</li> <li>Drive RFP/RFI responses, competitive positioning, and solution differentiation in complex deals</li> <li>Act as a trusted advisor to customers by recommending best practices and guiding security transformation initiatives</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Networking, or related field</li> <li>6–13 years of experience in cybersecurity pre-sales, solution architecture, or security consulting roles</li> <li>Strong experience across SIEM, SOAR, XDR, NDR, NAC, WAF, SSE, SOC operations, and managed security services</li> <li>Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN</li> <li>Proven experience in designing security architectures, delivering PoCs, and conducting customer workshops</li> <li>Experience in handling RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, and end-to-end presales lifecycle</li> <li>Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CEH, Security+, CySA+, or OEM certifications (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Splunk, Elastic)</li> <li>Experience working with MSSPs, cybersecurity consulting firms, or OEM presales teams</li> <li>Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS</li> <li>Experience designing SOC architectures, detection use cases, or managed security service models</li> <li>Exposure to multi-vendor security environments and integration of diverse security technologies</li> <li>Experience engaging with CXO-level stakeholders and influencing strategic security decisions</li> <li>Ability to mentor junior presales team members and contribute to sales enablement initiatives</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with focus on customer outcomes</li> </ul> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Why Gruve</strong></p> <p>At Gruve, we foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
