Job description

We are partnering with a fast-growing, consumer-first D2C brand in the women's beauty and personal care space to hire a Head of Brand Marketing.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who has successfully built and scaled a Brand Marketing function from the ground up. We are looking for a brand builder who understands that today's strongest consumer brands are built not just through marketing, but through authentic communities, compelling storytelling, and meaningful consumer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead the Brand Marketing function from scratch, including team, processes, and long-term brand strategy.
  • Define and execute the brand vision, positioning, messaging, and communication strategy.
  • Build a strong consumer community that drives advocacy, engagement, loyalty, and organic growth.
  • Develop community-led marketing initiatives, ambassador programs, creator networks, and consumer engagement platforms.
  • Drive influencer, creator, PR, social media, and content strategies to create a highly engaged brand ecosystem.
  • Build a brand that resonates deeply with women consumers through authentic storytelling, education, and purpose-led campaigns.
  • Own integrated marketing campaigns across digital, offline, social, experiential, and partnerships.
  • Lead product launch strategies and go-to-market plans for new categories and innovations.
  • Partner closely with Growth, Product, Creative, CRM, E-commerce, and Founder teams to create a seamless consumer experience.
  • Use consumer insights, social listening, and market research to continuously refine brand strategy.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing Brand Marketing and Community team.

Ideal Profile:

  • 715 years of Brand Marketing experience, preferably in D2C beauty, personal care, skincare, wellness, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven experience building a brand marketing function and scaling brands in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong experience building and nurturing consumer communities, ambassador programs, creator ecosystems, and brand advocacy initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of social-first marketing, influencer strategy, content-led growth, and community-driven brand building.
  • Strong understanding of the aspirations, behaviors, and purchasing journey of women consumers.
  • Experience launching products, developing brand campaigns, and driving both brand equity and commercial growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance long-term brand building and business performance.
  • Experience working closely with founders and cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Prior experience in venture-backed D2C brands is highly preferred.
