Job description
Our client is a Federal government organization seeking a senior-level Senior Special Advisor in Information Management / Knowledge Management (IM/KM).
This senior advisory role will provide strategic guidance to the development and operationalization of Information Management and Knowledge Management capabilities supporting command, control, communications, cyber, intelligence and targeting initiatives.
What you must bring to this role:
- Must possess Government of Canada Secret security clearance
- Minimum five (5) years' experience developing operational plans and concepts within a Joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (JISR) environment
- Minimum five (5) years' experience leading or managing operational support activities
- Experience providing strategic advice to senior military leadership, commanders and executive stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience developing Information Management / Knowledge Management concepts and implementation plans
- Minimum five (5) years' experience preparing senior-level IM/KM documentation including:
- Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
- Strategic plans
- Directives
- Capability reviews
- Defence IM/KM experimentation documentation
- Demonstrated knowledge of current operational JISR initiatives and capability development
- Experience supporting organizational change, capability integration and operational modernization initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience working across complex multi-organizational environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive-level briefings and documentation
