AWS/DevOps Engineer- Kolkata candidates only

EXPERIENCE- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with AWS services.

REQUIREMENTS

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC)
• Monitor server health, performance, and troubleshoot production issues
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins)
• Handle database backups, restoration, and performance tuning (PostgreSQL)
• Execute basic SQL queries for maintenance and operational tasks
• Configure and manage NGINX / web servers
• Automate routine tasks using shell scripting or Python
• Manage SSL certificates, domain configurations, and DNS
• Ensure security best practices (firewall rules, IAM policies, patching)
• Work closely with developers for deployment and release management
• Maintain logs, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Assist in infrastructure cost optimization and resource planning.

SKILLS

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, ALB).
• Good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/Amazon Linux) administration
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions / Jenkins)
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (backup, restore, performance basics)
• Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries for troubleshooting and maintenance
• Experience with NGINX / Apache web servers
• Basic scripting skills (Bash / Python)
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPC, Security Groups, Load Balancing)

Certifications (Preferred)

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong preference for candidates with AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect / Developer / SysOps)
• Multi-cloud knowledge or certifications are a plus
• DevOps / Kubernetes certifications are an added advantage.
