As our Veterinary Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the hospital. You will be responsible for ensuring your team not only meets but exceeds performance, financial, and client-experience targets. From staffing and scheduling to inventory control and compliance, you will lead the effort to create a thriving work environment that attracts top talent and delivers outstanding veterinary care.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all daily hospital operations
• Ensure compliance with all operational standards and requirements
• Create and manage accurate work schedules
• Hire, train, and onboard new team members to establish a culture of excellence
• Prepare and analyze monthly reports on hospital performance, staffing needs, and financial trends
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback for team growth
• Monitor inventory, manage ordering, and uphold cost control measures
• Provide a high level of support to doctors, staff, and clients with clarity and professionalism

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Hospital Operations Manager, Medical Office Manager, or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Over three years in veterinary medicine with increasing responsibilities; technician experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills coupled with an empathetic management style, with experience in training and mentoring.
• Advanced proficiency in Practice Management Systems and MS Excel.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce operational procedures to enhance productivity and patient satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, making important decisions with confidence.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to conflict resolution, capable of thriving under pressure.
• A demonstrated passion for making a positive impact in the lives of pets and their owners.
