Position Summary
Gold Triangle Management LLC, headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, seeks a qualified Commercial HVAC Technician to perform the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across the Company's portfolio of commercial properties. Serving in an in-house capacity, the Technician will travel among multiple properties and act as the Company's principal authority on HVAC operations, preventive maintenance, and capital repair planning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, includingrooftop units (RTUs), split systems, packaged units, and associated equipment, across multiple Company-managed properties
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment life and minimize system downtime
- Respond in a timely manner to tenant service requests and emergency repair calls
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all inspections, service activities, repairs, and parts utilized
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Advise property management personnel regarding system condition, repair versus replacement determinations, and capital planning
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of ten (10) years of professional, hands-on HVAC experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in the service and repair of commercial HVAC systems and equipment
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel among Company properties on a daily basis
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities across multiple sites
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
- State of Maryland HVACR license (Journeyman or Master)
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is $85,000. Gold Triangle Management LLC offers a benefits package that includes medical insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan.
