Data Analyst Intern (Backend & AI)

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain Google Sheets automations (Apps Script, formulas, data pipelines)
• Contribute to in-built ERP system codebase — adding features, fixing bugs, writing backend logic in Django/Python
• Prepare, clean, and manage datasets to ensure data quality and consistency
• Own data workflows end-to-end: transformation, reporting, dashboards
• Maintain structured data across internal systems — ensuring records are accurate, complete, and up to date
• Build REST APIs and backend modules to support internal tools
• Automate repetitive processes using Python or Apps Script
• Integrate third-party platforms via APIs where needed
• Build AI agents that plug into our in-built ERP system — think automated billing reconciliation, vendor communication drafting, inventory anomaly detection
• Help design and implement agentic workflows where the ERP can reason, decide, and act — not just store and retrieve data

Skills We're Looking For

• Python — strong, non-negotiable
• Google Sheets + Apps Script — practical, hands-on
• Data cleaning and preparation — knows what "good data" looks like
• Django or willingness to learn it fast (our ERP is Django)
• Git/GitHub basics
• REST APIs — understanding of how they work
• Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants
• Interest in AI agents and agentic development — hands-on experience is a bonus, genuine curiosity is a must
• Excel / Power BI — nice to have

Who This Is For

Someone who writes code and thinks in data — and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty. A significant part of this role is raw data work: fixing inconsistent records, untangling messy exports, chasing down missing values, and making data usable before anything interesting can be done with it. You're also equally comfortable scripting a Sheets automation and reading through Django views to add a feature. If you've tinkered with LLMs or built a small agent — this role has room for that too. But if grunt work puts you off, this isn't the right fit.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
