Job Description of Duties
- Expert with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) core services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, etc.) and demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply GCP services effectively.
- Extensive experience in cloud architecture design and best practices Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager).
- Ability to automate deployment pipelines (CI/CD) Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, GKE).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for cloud environments.
- Understanding of cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud integration.
- Designing secure access controls and role-based permissions (IAM)Implementing network security (firewalls, VPNs, private connectivity).
- Knowledge of data encryption at rest and in transit.
- Experience with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., PIPEDA, GDPR) Security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and incident response on GCP.
- Developing and enforcing security policies and best practices.
