Job description
- Help define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Core Experience, translating broad company vision into specific product bets, experiences, and execution plans informed by customer needs, usage data, and market signals.
- Own the end-to-end quality of Glean's core surfaces — Homepage, Mobile, Desktop, Extension, and SDK, plus the app shell, navigation, and settings — driving a single, consistent, consumer-grade product journey across every touchpoint.
- Partner exceptionally closely with the Search and Chat teams, to influence their roadmaps and ensure they integrate seamlessly into a cohesive end-to-end user journey.
- Spend significant time with users, customers, and internal stakeholders to understand how people start and complete work in Glean, and where friction, drop-off, or fragmentation is costing engagement and retention.
- Drive growth, engagement, virality, collaboration, and session depth as first-class outcomes, partnering with growth and data teams on activation, onboarding, and retention across entry points.
- Champion rapid experimentation, using A/B tests, instrumentation, and qualitative research to learn fast, raise core metrics, and make confident, data-driven product decisions.
- Partner deeply with engineering, design, and data teams to turn ambiguous concepts into well-scoped products, with clear user flows, interaction patterns, quality standards, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive customer-focused prioritization and efficient execution, balancing long-term platform opportunities with urgent user pain points, strategic customer asks, and company priorities.
- Collaborate closely with go-to-market, solutions, support, and forward-deployed teams to learn from real customer problems and ensure our product strategy reflects enterprise realities, not just internal assumptions.
- Bring a high bar for product craft by not only identifying the right opportunities, but also specifying how they should work in practice, including concrete workflows, UI behavior, performance, and adoption paths.
- You have 8+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of owning and shipping meaningful product areas in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, AI products, consumer products, or high-engagement workflow platforms.
- You have a strong product sense for translating complex, ambiguous problems into clear, polished product experiences, and you are comfortable moving between strategy and detailed execution.
- You have a deep interest in AI and software, and you are excited by the opportunity to shape consumer-grade experiences that combine search, chat, context, and proactive intelligence.
- You have a strong track record of driving growth, engagement, and retention through experimentation, instrumentation, and data-driven iteration.
- You are an outstanding cross-functional partner and influencer who can drive outcomes across surfaces you don't directly own, aligning adjacent teams into a cohesive user experience.
- You have strong technical fluency and are comfortable partnering with engineering and data teams on systems involving retrieval, ranking, client infrastructure, and intelligence layers across web, desktop, mobile, and SDK surfaces.
- You can demonstrate granular product thinking, including how a user should experience a workflow, what the right interaction model is, and how to sequence product capabilities into something customers will actually adopt.
- You are comfortable operating in highly ambiguous spaces and can create clarity, momentum, and alignment even when the product area is still emerging.
- You are an excellent written and verbal communicator, and have a learning and growth mindset.
- You have a proven track record of taking ownership, taking initiative, and delivering results, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
- You are mission-first and understand that your success is measured by your product and team's success.
- You are an early adopter in building with or adopting AI for your own product craft and you are excited about helping customers accelerate their own AI adoption journey.
- This role is hybrid (4 days a week in our Mountain View office)
