Quality Lab Technician

Join Giesecke+Devrient ePayments Canada Inc. as a Quality Lab Technician where you'll conduct essential tests on Payment and Government cards in a lab setting. You'll ensure strict adherence to ISO and Mastercard standards for quality validation.

In this role reporting to the Quality Manager, you are tasked with executing various card component tests while accurately documenting results. You will leverage Microsoft Excel for test reports, communicate findings, and initiate Non-Conformance Reports as needed. The position allows you to work independently while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform tests on cards and all components
• Update and maintain accurate test reports in Excel
• Communicate testing results effectively to departments
• Initiate Non-Conformance Reports for discrepancies
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the lab

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Experience with Quality Management Systems preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
