Team mission

Enable travelers to easily explore our destinations, POIs and categories by providing an intuitive and inspiring discovery experience. We help curate and organize our inventory at scale throughout the entire traveler customer journey and for internal stakeholders.

In this cross-functional setting, we are seeking an enthusiastic, tech-savvy leader to join as a Senior Manager. You will work closely with technical stakeholders (Engineers, Data Scientists and Product Managers), as well as Supply, Marketing and related Content teams to innovate on our landscape.

Please note this is a 12 month Maternity Cover position on a fixed term contract.

Your mission

• Lead & develop a team that delivers cross-functional projects, processes and product features to improve site experience, inventory curation and other aspects of our marketplace business.
• Create & drive proposals to test, validate, and scale content optimizations that positively impact all sides of our marketplace (growth, travelers and suppliers). 
• Formulate a mid-long term vision & roadmap that brings these into a coherent picture and support strategy formulation for the department and stakeholders.
• Identify incompletions in our Merchandising & Content set-up, align and/or implement solutions with stakeholders across the business.
• Analyze data to evaluate product, marketing and process performance, uncover opportunities, and leverage insights to create buy-in and influence teams’ roadmaps.
• Improve operational excellence through metricizing, playbook generation and Tech adoption.
• Establish and maintain data standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Your toolkit

• 7+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced, built-for-scale environment in project management, product management or business analysis (2+ years in a leadership role) or 5+ years in strategic management consulting. Plus for experience in a similar set-up in a two-sided digital marketplace or Consumer Tech scale-up. 
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex customer problems and to manage large, cross‑functional projects and stakeholder groups under considerable ambiguity.
• Experience working at the intersection of Product, Marketing and Operations, ideally including launching data products or other exposure to LLMs. 
• You effortlessly switch altitude between highly conceptual discussions and diving into the details & taking specific action steps to deliver.
• You are highly analytical and comfortable using business intelligence tools and various data visualization concepts. Bonus for skills in data extraction using SQL and/or Python.
• You have superb written and verbal English communication skills across different audiences and can quickly build relationships with stakeholders
