Team mission
The Strategy & Corporate Development team’s mission is to support the creation and execution of innovative strategies that will help GetYourGuide harness its competitive advantage. We have a seat at the table and are able to navigate between big picture views and an analytical mindset to enable our Management team to make optimal decisions to achieve our company's mission.
We are introducing a new Head of Strategic Programs (Marketing) role to boost our organizational effectiveness and spearhead strategic initiatives. This role will report to the Director of Strategy and Corporate Development and empower our CMO by aligning cross-functional strategies and ensuring operational excellence across the department. By focusing on strategic planning and execution, the Head of Strategic Programs will help us navigate complex challenges and enhance Executive effectiveness.
Your mission
- Support the development of our growth flywheel strategy and strategic roadmaps across Marketing identifying strategic opportunities, incompletions, and supporting the Marketing leadership to drive alignment across stakeholders.
- Conduct and synthesize in-depth strategic analysis and gather market/competitor insights focusing on Marketing.
- Lead strategic projects e.g. to enhance operational excellence and process efficiency.
- Oversee Objectives and Key Results (OKR), Roadmaps and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) processes for the Marketing department.
- Organize and manage all high-impact internal and external meetings for the Executive.
- Develop strategic content including presentations and communications with investors and stakeholders.
- Enhance information flow across the department, connect the dots with key stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness.
Your toolkit
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including top tier consulting and marketing, strategy, analytical roles in tech companies
- Proven ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with Executive and Board-level stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management abilities.
- Highly attentive, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English is essential; fluency in German is a plus.
