The Opportunity

We're building a data platform from the ground up at a rapidly-growing real estate asset management company — and we want someone who wants to own that build.

Gestion Zagora manages over 6,000 residential units across Canada and the United States. Our Data Strategy & Innovation team is the engine behind operational transformation: we automate workflows, modernize infrastructure, and build the intelligence tools our leadership relies on every day.

This is an early-career role with real scope. You'll report directly to the Head of Data Strategy & Innovation, get hands-on mentorship during onboarding, and be trusted with meaningful work from day one.

What You'll Actually Do

Data Engineering

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines in Python and BigQuery/SQL
• Connect APIs and operational systems to centralize data flows
• Automate recurring reporting workflows that currently run manually

Analytics & BI

• Support KPI tracking across Leasing, Vacancy, Collections, and more
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer real business questions from senior leadership
• Help translate operational questions into scalable data models

Systems & Infrastructure

• Assist with our ongoing ERP migration and system-to-system integrations
• Monitor data quality and pipeline health
• Support internal automation tools across Google Workspace

What We're Looking For

Technical Skills

• Strong Python (OOP, Pandas) — modern tooling like ruff and uv is a plus
• Solid SQL for analytics and data transformation
• Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Basic exposure to cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
• Bonus: Power BI, Google Sheets automation, ERP systems, or Google Cloud certifications

About Our Team

The Data Strategy & Innovation department partners with Asset Management, Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Leasing to drive real business value through data modernization and process automation. We work across the full stack — from raw pipeline construction to executive-facing dashboards — and we move fast.

GitHub portfolios, internship experience in data/analytics/consulting, and hands-on project work are all strong differentiators.
