Key Responsibilities

• Write and create news stories for print and web
• Cover beats like court and police incidents
• Shoot photographs that accurately represent the news
• Partner with editorial staff to refine story focus
• Gather firsthand accounts through interviews

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in a related field preferred
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle mandatory
• Willingness to relocate immediately to Medicine Hat
• Proficient in writing and photographic journalism
• Capable of maintaining deadlines in a fast-paced setting
