As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Scheduling will be based on site needs. Scheduling will vary so the ideal new hire should have open flexibility to take any schedule. Weekends are required. Must complete 16 hours of OJT. Full time hours are not guaranteed.
• Competitive hourly wage starting at $23.29/ Hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of Surveillance Security Guard

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• You have Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 2 years or more
• You have an active DC security license
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Must have experience utilizing Microsoft applications or Google applications, and Security Systems. Must have experience with Incident/ DAR reports
