Job Description

• Cobb Systems Group is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Engineer with a strong frontend and cloud focus to support a FinTech client in building a next-generation Feedback Loop Labelling application for surveillance and analytics pipelines.
• This is an opportunity to join a small, high-impact team developing the first version of a micro-application within a modern Surveillance Command Center platform.
• In this role, you will work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver a scalable, user-friendly solution that enables the generation of high-quality ground truth datasets.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in modern web development, cloud-native architectures, and agile delivery practices, along with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• This position offers exposure to advanced data pipelines, machine learning workflows, and real-time analytics, making it ideal for engineers who want to work at the intersection of cloud, data, and intelligent systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to interpret requirements and design scalable web applications.
• Develop and implement full-stack solutions using modern frontend frameworks and cloud-native backend services.
• Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces that integrate seamlessly with existing enterprise platforms.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services in Python.
• Leverage AWS cloud services to build scalable, secure, and resilient applications.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through best engineering practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain automated unit, component, and integration tests.
• Support the team in managing releases and shepherding solutions through the SDLC to production.
• Continuously improve application performance, usability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with data and ML teams to support labelled data workflows and feedback loop systems.
• Adapt to evolving priorities and contribute to innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience building production-quality, full-stack, multi-tier web applications.
• 3+ years of experience developing modern web frontends using Angular.
• 2+ years of experience building RESTful backend services using Python.
• Experience working with SQL and relational database systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying solutions on AWS.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments with CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including design, testing, and code quality.
• Experience writing automated unit, integration, and component tests.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred

• Experience working with data pipelines integrated with machine learning models.
• Exposure to big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, or similar.
• Familiarity with supervised machine learning, labelled datasets, and feedback loop systems.
• Experience working in financial services, compliance, or surveillance domains.
• Experience building data-driven or analytics-focused applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and interest in emerging technologies.
