Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager you will be accountable for delivering quality quotes and acquiring business for existing and new customers. Success will come from working with your Manager, product marketing and sales to identify the right opportunities and deliver competitive, quality quotes to our customers. Responsibility will also entail following up on opportunities to yield incremental revenue for Future Electronics.

Responsibilities

Sales/ Branch Management

  • Work with GMs' and sales to identify opportunities for quote through SBDU; Interface with the field / CCFSC to ensure qualification and proper definition of quote and customer objective with their Manager-Strategic Program / SBDM.
  • Qualify opportunities - Determine quote strategy (A,B,D,E,F, turns).
  • Follow up to receive feedback award for BIM conversion and communicate to marketing
  • Communicate award tracker from customer to sales

Quote Coordination

  • Coordinate quote upload / cleansing strategy with India team
  • Work quotes to completion involving product mkt. (A,B,D,E,F, turns)

Present opportunity to prod. Mkt.

o Complete quote coversheets detailing strategy

o Ensure QM is classed and parts are cleansed correctly to match dashboard before release to marketing for quote

o Work with Manager to implement supplier strategies

o Coordinate locals by supplier-coordinate with field for branch driven locals, identify registration content / CRM

o Communicate all reg's to sales to secure protected costs where possible

o Initiate comp costs for quote review

o Work with product marketing to ensure quality quote is completed within set Timeline

Quote Review

  • Tactical review of all quoted lines including auto quote, using the quote checklist and timeline
  • Ensure the initial quote strategy has been achieved
  • Review every quote with Manager before it goes back to Branch/Customer
  • Daily review of BG quotes

Quote Presentation

  • Summarize all quotes back to sales; ensuring that the quote meets customer's expectations. Provide breakdown of the quote; focus/bookable index in order help sales close opportunity.
  • Review executive summary with sales in conjunction with Manager to sales to on all A, B and D quotes to discuss the quote and position, agree on follow-up actions

Post Quote / Requote / Award

  • Communicate and coordinate feedback to product mkt. for re-quote
  • Load feedback to dashboard
  • Review re-quote provided by product mkt. - review with PMMQ's
  • Create award tracker for relevant opportunities, measure award to backlog to sales for A, B & select D quotes
