React Native Developer Needed for Pet Social Network Platform

We're building a location-based social platform that connects pet parents across India — helping them meet nearby pet owners, organize activities, and discover local pet services.

Our backend MVP is ready.

We're looking for a

React Native developer (Expo) to build a polished, performant experience across Android, iOS, and web that reflects our brand identity and delights users.

You will work directly with our backend developer and product owner to integrate APIs and ship a smooth end-to-end experience.

### What you'll do

• Build and ship the app (Android, iOS, and web) using

React Native + Expo

• Translate our

existing brand guidelines into a clean, modern UI

• Integrate backend APIs (location services, social feeds, user profiles, pet services)
• Implement core features including:
• Locationbased discovery and maps
• Social feed, posts, and pet profiles
• Push notifications
• Camera and media uploads
• Ensure a

consistent, nativefeeling experience across Android, iOS, and web

• Deliver maintainable, wellstructured code that's easy to hand over

### We're looking for someone who:

• Has a strong

design eye and can implement pixel-accurate UIs from brand guidelines

• Works independently and needs minimal daytoday direction
• Communicates clearly and flags blockers early

### Technical skills we care about

• React Native + Expo (EAS Build, Expo Router)
• State management (Redux Toolkit / Zustand)
• Maps and location (expolocation, reactnativemaps)
• Push notifications

(expo-notifications / FCM / APNs)

• Camera and media (expoimagepicker, expocamera)
• REST API integration

### Nice to have

• Experience shipping a React Native app to the App Store or Play Store
• Experience building social or locationbased platforms
• Deeper familiarity with the

Expo ecosystem (managed vs bare workflow, EAS Submit, OTA updates)

• Experience with design systems or component libraries (e.g. NativeBase, Tamagui, Restyle)
• Familiarity with optimising UX for emerging markets or lowbandwidth environments
