QUICK MONEY:Android Developer – Barcode Scanner App

BUDGET IS A PLACEHOLDER AT THE MOMENT

I have paid more than 108k+ USD to freelancers in last few months. I have worked with more than 130 developers here and currently working with 130 developers.

I need a native Android developer to build a simple offline barcode scanning app.

This is NOT a Flutter project.

The app is for handheld Android scanner devices used in warehouse-style environments.

Core Requirements

Single screen only.

Fields:

Location (sticky)

Item

Length (numeric)

Width (numeric)

Qty (numeric)

Notes

Workflow:

Scanner behaves as keyboard wedge (no SDK required)

Auto-advance between fields

Save button writes record to local SQLite

After save, cursor returns to Item field

Location remains until manually changed

Export:

Generate combined XLSX file (CSV acceptable initially)

File name must be unique (no overwrite)

Stored locally for PC transfer

Important

Developer will NOT have physical scanner.

You must be comfortable simulating keyboard-wedge barcode input.

Deliverables

Working APK

SQLite storage implemented

XLSX export implemented

Clean, stable focus control and auto-advance behavior

Contract duration of more than 6 months.
