Frontend Developer — 14, React, Tailwind CSS — Hourly, 3-Week Platform Build

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join a fast-moving 3-week platform build. This is an hourly contract at $25–$40/hr, estimated 35 hours total.

The Role

You will own the entire frontend — from landing page to dashboard views — built in 14 with Tailwind CSS.

You will work from a documented API contract alongside a backend developer and report directly to the project lead. You must be comfortable building against an API spec without waiting for the backend to be fully ready.

What You Will Build

Landing page (hero, CTA, fully responsive)

Multi-step registration flows for two user types, including file upload

Conversational chat UI with streaming text rendering

JWT auth context, httpOnly cookie management, protected routes, role-based redirects

Results page with ranked cards, quality indicator badges, selection flow and confirmation modal

Professional dashboard wired to live data — inbox, status badges, detail drawer

Accept/reject actions with optimistic UI updates and toast notifications

Async AI content rendering with loading skeletons and polling

Guardrail response UI — user-friendly messages for safety triggers and rate limits

Full UI polish — loading states, form validation errors, empty states, mobile responsiveness

Performance audit, bundle size check, React error boundaries

Commitment Required

This is a hard 3-week deadline with no buffer. We require a minimum of 14 hours per week dedicated to this project. Going silent, missing sprint deliverables, or disappearing mid-sprint will result in immediate contract termination. Hours billed without meaningful output will be disputed.
