Nightshift Custodian (LOCAL - SMS)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Fort McMurray 468 First Nation is seeking a self-motivated safety conscious individual who will be responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties at SMS.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Clean offices, meeting rooms, hallways, washrooms and other facilities

· Mop tile and floor areas and vacuum all carpeted areas

· Dust all furniture and fixtures as required

· Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers, fixtures and mirrors

· Replenish required supplies

· Keep outside area near exits and entrances clear of snow, cans, paper, etc.

· Steam clean floors, clean kitchen sinks and counters

· Report maintenance issues and acts of vandalism

· Operate equipment such as buffers

· Complete FLRA’s prior to commencing shift

Working Conditions:

· Schedule: 7 on/7 off (12 hr nightshifts)

· Physical ability to lift 20 pounds or more; prolonged standing, walking, lifting, squatting and bending; operating medium weight cleaning equipment such as buffers, and moving desks and furniture

QUALIFICATIONS

· CSO

· Valid Class 5 license is an asset

· Successful Pre-access Drug and Alcohol Testing
