Full-Time Physical Therapist Supporting Student Wellness

Elevate student physical health and mobility as a full-time Physical Therapist. Provide tailored therapy services for students in an inclusive environment, supporting their diverse needs from EEP through Grade 12.

In this permanent position, you'll assess and identify the physical therapy needs of students using proven methods. Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and community stakeholders is essential to develop effective Individual Program Plans. Your input will help empower educators and engage families, enhancing the overall student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify therapy goals
• Integrate physical therapy into everyday classroom activities
• Develop and monitor Individual Program Plans with teams
• Facilitate professional development for staff and families
• Advise on the use of adaptive equipment

Requirements

• Master’s in Physical Therapy required
• Licensed and in good standing with Alberta College
• At least 2 years of experience in pediatrics
• Tech-savvy with Google Workspace and MS Office
• Valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
