Mechanical Designer for Food Processing

At CMP (Charlottetown Metal Products), we seek a Mechanical Designer to enhance our innovation projects within food processing. Working alongside a talented team, you will design industrial systems based on engineering specifications while maintaining high design standards. Your role will involve using AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks to produce design drawings and BOMs, along with providing crucial technical support across departments. Key Responsibilities:

• Design food processing equipment per Product Engineer specifications
• Develop design drawings using AutoCAD and 3D software
• Create and enter BOMs into ERP systems
• Liaise between field support and shop staff for design execution
• Verify designs meet specifications from concept to commissioning Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Mechanical or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software
• Preferably a P.Eng/EIT registrant
• Experience in food processing equipment design preferred
