Financial Analysis - Professional I

About your role:

As a Financial Analyst in Sales Finance, you will play a crucial role in validating sales results for Fiserv. Your work will be essential in maintaining the organization's financial health by analyzing sales and compensation data. At Fiserv, we value accurate and actionable financial insights that help shape our strategic directions and business decisions, and your contributions will be pivotal in achieving these goals. This role will focus on sales finance support, annual contract value review (ACV), commission payment review and analysis, and process improvement.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct extensive audits of sales values to accurately report revenue.

  • Analyze financial data including contracts, and price modeling, review variances, and update systems.

  • Understand and analyze compensation plans, audit payments, calculate ad hoc payment components, understand relationship between sales ACV and compensation.

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on accurate sales reporting and commission payments.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic improvements.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 0-2+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

  • Experience in financial and data analysis with Excel.

  • Experience reconciling data, analyzing multiple data sources.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and/or equivalent military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience with ECRM and Power BI.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience working in the financial services industry.

  • Experience in implementing process improvements in a financial setting.

  • Experience with strategic financial planning and analysis.

How you'll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
