Senior Platform Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our platform engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the internal platforms and tools that empower our software development teams to operate efficiently and effectively. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will lead the implementation of robust platform solutions that streamline development workflows across the organization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help create scalable, resilient, and high-performing platforms that advance our strategic objectives and foster innovation throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust cloud platforms (AWS must have, Azure, Google Cloud is good to have).
• Enhance monitoring and diagnostics capabilities to ensure high availability and performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with organizational goals.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and scalability of the platforms.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps domain.
• Advanced knowledge in AWS and Azure cloud.
• Advanced knowledge in IaC tools Terraform, Terragrunt.
• Hands-on experience with Packer Tool (Image Builder) tool.
• Hands-on knowledge in designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline with tools like, GitHub Action, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar.
• Hands-on knowledge in configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows and Linux Administration.
• Hands-on knowledge of integrating security scan tools like SonarQube, Veracode. Synk and StackHawk in CI/CD.
• Consistently demonstrated the capability to develop and build solutions.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Application development using Python and any scripting language with hands-on experience in Code Reviews.

• AWS Certifications, Azure, GCP Knowledge.
• Immutable Infrastructure with autoscaling capability.
• Observability & Monitoring.
• Experience with GitOps workflows and progressive delivery strategies.
• Experience with System & IT operation – Windows and Linux OS administration.
• Understanding of networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies), Microsoft Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
