Manager, Mining Service Operations

• Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of staff, including recruitment and selection, orientation, coaching and mentoring, performance feedback, and supporting growth and development opportunities
• Support a healthy and safe workplace by ensuring that all safety practices and policies are followed by employees, contractors and on site customers
• Manage and monitor the work order process
• Continually identify and recommend opportunities to improve service to customers
• Responsible for managing service operations and assets to achieve best possible financial results, aligned with the corporate strategy and personal objectives
• Effective planning, management and reporting of service financial results, assets and facilities requirements

Experience

• 5 to 10 years in a mechanical service environment
• Supervisory or team leadership experience
• Thorough understanding of the union and Finning’s collective agreement

Position based on Customer Site. Representing Finning's interests on site while ensuring customer needs are met.

Camp and Flight offered. Allowing successful candidate to be based out of Fort McMurray, Edmonton, or Calgary.

This position is a 4 x 3 work shift.
