Job Description
Location: Montreal, Canada (preferred) | Canada-based candidates only

Findora is developing production-grade AI systems designed for enterprise and institutional use.
What you will work on
Design backend systems for AI pipelines and applications
Build data ingestion, processing, and retrieval pipelines
Develop APIs (REST/gRPC) for model interaction and integration
Implement efficient retrieval layers (vector search, indexing, hybrid search)
Optimize performance, latency, and reliability across deployments
What we are looking for
Strong backend experience (Python, FastAPI or similar)
Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures
Solid understanding of data systems and pipelines
Ability to reason about system trade-offs (latency, throughput, reliability)
High ownership and ability to build end-to-end systems
Nice to have
Experience integrating AI/ML systems
Familiarity with vector databases (FAISS, Weaviate, pgvector, etc.)
Experience with Docker or similar environments
