Role Overview

FinacPlus is seeking an Accountant with 4–6 years of experience to support a U.S.-based real estate and property management platform. This role requires strong expertise in balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger management, financial reporting, and accounting investigations across multi-entity environments.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, analytical, and capable of independently identifying, investigating, and resolving complex accounting discrepancies. Proficiency in Yardi Voyager 7 & 8 is mandatory for this role.

Must be available to work during Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours to ensure seamless coordination with the U.S. property accounting and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Balance Sheet & Reconciliation

• Investigate and reconcile balance sheet discrepancies across multiple entities; propose correcting journal entries
• Perform thorough monthly reconciliations using Excel workbooks, with full documentation
• Analyze quarterly BS, P&L, and variance reports

General Ledger Management

• Propose correcting journal entries to resolve GL discrepancies
• Maintain a clean GL structure; identify and correct coding errors

Financial Reporting

• Support month, quarter, and year-end close processes; ensure timely and accurate financial statements
• Assist with cash flow analysis and annual budget planning

Required Qualifications

• College degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with strong understanding of accounting principles
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience with significant focus on balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger
• Yardi Voyager 7 & 8 proficiency is required
• Proven ability to self-manage priorities and drive issues to resolution independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in US real estate, property management, or multi-entity accounting environments
• Background in accounting investigations, internal audit, or financial controls
