Job description

FieldAI is transforming how robots interact with the real world. Our growing R&D team is based in Boston, where we develop risk-aware, reliable, field-ready AI systems that tackle the hardest problems in robotics and unlock the potential of embodied intelligence. We take a pragmatic approach that goes beyond off-the-shelf, purely data-driven methods or transformer-only architectures, combining cutting-edge research with real-world deployment. Our solutions are already deployed globally, and we continuously improve model performance through rapid iteration driven by real field use.

About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Recruiter to help build our growing FAIRI (FieldAI Research Institute) team in Boston. This role goes beyond traditional full-cycle recruiting. You'll partner closely with engineering and research leaders to understand long-term hiring priorities, develop proactive talent strategies, and identify exceptional technical talent before they enter the market.

You'll recruit for some of our most impactful technical roles while serving as a key contributor to talent strategy, market insights, candidate assessment, and hiring decisions. If you enjoy building relationships with world-class researchers and engineers, navigating complex searches, and solving difficult hiring challenges, we'd love to meet you.

Approximately 10-15% of your time will support People Operations through onboarding, recruiting operations, process improvements, and initiatives that create an exceptional employee experience.

This is a fixed-term position with an immediate business need. We are looking for someone who can start immediately. This role may evolve into a full-time role in the future depending on business need.

Lead offer negotiations and help close highly competitive technical talent.

Strategic Talent Partnership

Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to engineering and research leadership.

Provide market insights on talent trends, compensation, competitor hiring, and candidate availability.

Help hiring teams make informed decisions through talent mapping, market intelligence, and thoughtful candidate assessment.
