Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reporter role based in Patiala. The Reporter will gather information from various sources, conduct interviews, and research background details to produce accurate and engaging news stories or reports. Daily responsibilities include attending events or briefings, verifying facts, preparing written reports or articles, and collaborating with editors or supervisors to refine content. The role may involve working with multimedia formats, such as photos, audio, or video, and adapting stories for different channels. The Reporter is expected to meet deadlines, follow ethical standards, and maintain strong relationships with sources and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills, including the ability to investigate, verify information, and craft clear, compelling stories.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to conduct interviews, interact with sources, and present information effectively.
• Candidates should possess solid Writing skills for drafting, editing, and refining reports or articles in a clear and concise manner.
• Candidates should possess Multimedia skills, such as basic photography, audio or video recording, and familiarity with digital tools for publishing content.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include strong attention to detail, ethical judgment, time management, and the ability to work under deadline pressure.
• A relevant educational background in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred, along with prior reporting or internship experience.
