Customer Services Coordinator & Technical Support

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Coordinator to join our support team. This role involves providing technical assistance and ensuring excellent customer service for clients experiencing IT-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical knowledge across various operating systems and networking environments, and experience with support tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy.

The Customer Service

Coordinator will serve as a vital link between clients and technical teams, ensuring timely resolution of issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.

Duties

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via help desk channels, providing clear and effective technical support.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Assist users with network connectivity problems involving LAN, VPN, and firewall configurations.
  • Use support management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy to document incidents, track progress, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support desktop environments by resolving issues related to Microsoft Office applications, operating systems, and computer hardware.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex networking or hardware problems efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT support best practices and emerging technologies to improve service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical solutions in an understandable manner.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing professional and courteous service at all times.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a help desk or IT support role involving technical troubleshooting across various platforms such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts including LAN setup, firewall configuration, VPN access, and network security protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with support tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy for incident management.
  • Knowledge of desktop support including hardware repairs and software troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common office productivity software such as Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
