Job Description

As a Manager Consultant in the Consulting - Internal Audit team at EY, you will play a crucial role in leading client engagements focused on risk-based Internal Audits, process and compliance reviews, and development of Standard Operating Procedure Manuals. Your expertise in Internal Audit will be instrumental in contributing to the growth of a new service offering and being part of a leading global firm.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Understand the client's business and related industry issues/trends.
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients and onshore client teams.
  • Independently execute internal audit engagements, collaborating with clients and onsite teams.
  • Support in developing scopes for internal audits, process reviews, and compliance reviews.
  • Identify process gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management interventions and actions.
  • Communicate audit scope, status, issues, risks, and recommendations through written reports and presentations.
  • Manage multiple assignments and project teams effectively.
  • Monitor project progress and keep key stakeholders informed.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members for their growth and performance goals.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management strategies and firm activities.
  • Manage engagement budgets and support in developing marketing collaterals and business proposals.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and innovation projects leveraging emerging technologies.
  • Support in developing thought leadership content and innovation initiatives.
  • *Qualifications Required:**
  • CA or MBA (Masters in Business Administration) degree.
  • 2-5 years of Internal Audit experience with a consulting firm or an Internal Audit department.
  • Technical experience in Finance, Operations, or Regulatory Compliance.
  • Knowledge of cross-functional business processes.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to innovate and think differently.
