Job description
Ensure the proper and timely movement and clearance of freight, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Customs Brokerage department.
Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
- Meets company standards of 52 hours training per year
- Ensure customer profiles are updated and current for assigned accounts
- Manage an allocated book of business for all customs needs.
- Navigation of the CARM Client Portal
- Follow SOPs
- Coordinate and Dispatch freight upon request
- Submit documents to CBSA
- Complete entry requirements for various entries; Standard Filing, E29B, C-Type, V-Type Etc.
- CCS or Intro CSS qualification is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, Windows, Outlook and various PC based software
- Willingness to learn and develop the industry skills
