Application Production Support – Global Markets IT (Hybrid - Montreal)

Location: Montreal, QC – Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for trading, accounting, or compliance applications, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, analyze root causes, and communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders.
• Maintain system monitoring, alerting, and dashboards; propose automation and process improvements.
• Perform SQL queries, analyze data flows, and validate data integrity across multiple systems.
• Write and maintain scripts in Unix/Linux (Bash, KornShell) or Python to support operations and automation.
• Support releases, configuration updates, and UAT testing in collaboration with development teams.
• Contribute to knowledge base, documentation, and process optimization initiatives.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong Unix/Linux skills and shell scripting.
• Advanced SQL knowledge (Oracle, Sybase, or similar).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Geneos, Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK stack).
• Experience with ITIL-based ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA).
• Python scripting and automation experience.
• Understanding of trade lifecycle, accounting processes, or compliance workflows is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus).
