We are currently looking for a highly skilled Freelance Graphic Designer / Brand Designer to join our extended creative team on a contract basis.

This is not an entry-level production role. We are looking for a strategic, experienced designer who can confidently lead projects, communicate directly with clients, and execute high-level creative with minimal direction from our internal team.

We want someone who understands that great design is both beautiful and functional. Yes, aesthetics matter deeply to us. But the work also needs to convert, communicate clearly, and align with the bigger brand strategy.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Designing elevated visual identities and full brand systems
• Creating logo suites, typography systems, color palettes, and custom brand assets
• Designing custom social media templates and branded content systems from scratch
• Designing strategic, high-converting social media assets that align with overall brand positioning
• Developing brand guides, presentation decks, lead magnets, and other digital marketing assets
• Designing offline and print collateral such as signage, packaging, business cards, brochures, event materials, and branded merchandise mockups
• Creating polished brand application mockups including apparel, clothing, product packaging, and lifestyle visuals when needed
• Supporting website visual direction, layout design, and overall digital brand consistency
• Contributing to social media strategy and understanding how design supports engagement, positioning, and conversions
• Collaborating with strategists, copywriters, and leadership to bring cohesive, premium-level brands to life

What We're Looking For

• A strong portfolio showcasing original branding, social media, and design work
• Experience creating fully custom designs and templates, not simply editing pre-made assets
• Strong understanding of social media strategy and how to design content that actually performs
• Someone who can lead projects confidently and hit the ground running
• Ability to require minimal oversight, direction, or rounds of feedback
• Strong client communication skills
• Ability to confidently hop on a call, ask the right questions, understand a client's vision, and execute effectively
• Excellent understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, branding, and digital design
• High attention to detail and a strong creative eye
• Ability to adapt across multiple aesthetics and brand styles
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma
• Availability for occasional video calls during PST business hours

• Have agency experience
• Have experience with web or UX/UI design
• Can contribute strategically, not just visually
• Understand marketing psychology and conversion-focused design
• Are based in Canada or familiar with North American brands and audiences
