Role Description The Clinical Program Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Silver Spring, MD, responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs and services. This role includes managing daily clinical operations, supervising and supporting multidisciplinary clinical staff, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality standards. The Clinical Program Director collaborates with leadership to develop and refine program models, workflows, and outcome measures, and monitors performance to drive continuous improvement. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing treatment plans, coordinating care pathways, supporting risk management and clinical safety, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. The Director also participates in strategic planning, contributes to staff training and mentorship, and represents Evercove Wellness in partnerships with external providers, community organizations, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related clinical field required
- Current Maryland license as LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT required (meets COMAR 10.21.19.04 and 10.63.07.04 Clinical Director requirements)
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in behavioral health settings
- Minimum three years of clinical supervision experience required
- Experience with substance use disorder treatment and co-occurring disorders required
- Comprehensive knowledge of ASAM criteria, BHA regulations, COMAR 10.21.19, and COMAR 10.63.07 standards
- Experience with program management and quality improvement initiatives
