Overview

As part of our Business Management team, this position will represent customer and stakeholder interests by translating business needs into clearly defined and prioritized work. This position ensures alignment among strategic product objectives, customer requirements, and technical execution through effectively prioritizing product operations, collaborating cross-functionally, and managing a backlog. Through ongoing communication with leadership and delivery teams, you’ll help guide the consistent development and execution of high-value solutions. 

Responsibilities

  • Discover, prioritize, and communicate vital product operation plans and desired outcomes across teams while establishing clear expectations with stakeholders
  • Represent customer and stakeholder interests by gathering input, assessing needs, and translating requirements into actionable work items for the IST division
  • Own and manage the product enablement activities and backlog, ensuring prioritization reflects business value, user needs, and delivery objectives
  • Partner with IST development and management teams to reinforce product vision and alignment with organizational objectives
  • Provide timely responses to questions, and ensure relevant information is communicated to delivery teams to support effective and high-value execution
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, and senior leadership regarding priorities, impediments, progress, and delivery timelines
  • Work closely with the IST Scrum Master to ensure priorities are clearly defined, actionable, and progressing as planned
  • Coordinate with managers and team leads to identify appropriate resources for requirements gathering and user stories
  • Maintain sufficient knowledge of system capabilities and developing technologies to assess technical feasibility and support informed decision-making on proposed work

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product enablement, business management , or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated success working across business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective prioritization, and the ability to manage competing demands in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with requirements gathering, agile delivery practices, user story development, backlog management and cross-functional collaboration is preferred
  • Recognized thought leader with exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, IT or related field
